Mission Statement

The Florida Foreign Trade Association (FFTA) is a nonprofit trade organization incorporated in July 1985. The organization represents the most diverse group of individuals and companies in the foreign trade market.

FFTA provides a forum where information and concepts are freely exchanged.

The mission of FFTA is to serve the international business community by facilitating global exchange through trade missions, networking, education, and innovative trade development programs. FFTA connects Florida with the rest of the world by organizing trade missions outbound and inbound for U.S. businesses to locate, explore opportunities, and interact with peers and foreign buyers/sellers. FFTA also organizes export seminars, exhibits, tradeshows, and networking activities.

We are pleased to continue offering Training Program in International Trade in English and Spanish sessions. This program has been very successful and the participants have found the content of the seminar very knowledgeable.

Instructor: Bill Pereira with 35 years experience in export and import, including 15 years experience training in Universities, Schools and Associations. Bill’s vast experience started in New York with Spanish American Steamship Line; 8 years with Shulton, Inc (Old Spice manufacturers), NY.

Bill moved to Miami and worked for 2 years in an export company Kruse & Associates; after he joined Motorola, Inc., Fort Lauderdale where he worked for 8 years. Later he worked 16 years for Bendix Avionics Division in Fort Lauderdale.

Bill Pereira holds a Master Degree in Business Administration and a Master Degree in International Administration from Nova University.
